Painting allows me to express my feelings about something I have seen or experienced that has moved me. To capture a moment so I can relive it again and again. At times, it can be a spiritual experience, while other times it is just something that seems very beautiful and I hunger to try and capture it. But almost always, it is a peaceful moment of solitude. Alone with my thoughts and an increased awareness of the presence of God and His infinite love for us. A reminder that He allows us all in one way or another to share in His divine creative process.
